Growing up in Michigan, Brent discovered at an early age he had a terrible allergy to both cold and snow. After college, he found his new home in the laid-back little beach town of San Diego CA. In 1987 the show-biz bug bit, so he left his job as a head-hunter and embarked on a career as a wordsmith, writing for the likes of Phyllis Diller and Rodney Dangerfield. Brent's real estate career began in 1993 with the purchase of his first rental property. Over the next several years he expanded his portfolio to include both single family and multi family units.
As San Diego began resembling Los Angeles, Brent moved to the Treasure Coast and in 2001 obtained
his Florida real estate license. “I was already looking into the Florida real estate market,” explains Jenkins, and with San Diego turning into LA, it was an easy decision. I knew Florida had the quality of life I was looking for. “Real estate is an important part of our financial plan; so whether it's helping someone get into their first home or working with investors looking to build their real estate portfolio here in the Sunshine State I'm here to assist in any way I can.“
